About World 11

World 11 is a free World Cup draft roguelike you play right in your browser. Spin a random nation and year, draft one real player per position from that era's squad, then send your cross-era frankenteam through a fourteen-match gauntlet and try to win the cup unbeaten. You draft, the matches are simulated, and every run is different.

It is built in Godot 4 and runs with no download or install. Just open the game page and play. The draft-and-simulate loop makes for quick, replayable sessions where the fun is in building an impossible dream team and seeing how far it goes.

World 11 is one of the free browser games from indie developer Kevin Gabeci. If you like it, try the cozy card-collector Orchard Deck next.

More fun than it has any right to be

I opened it for five minutes and lost an hour. You spin a random country and year, draft one real player per position, and then just have to see if your weird cross-era team can actually win the cup. The one-more-run pull is real.

Football nerd heaven

Drafting legends from across every era into one impossible squad is exactly the daydream I have had since I was a kid. The fact that the player data is real makes it click.

The draft loop is genuinely addictive

Getting a 1970s Brazil spin and then having to fill the rest of the squad from whatever eras come up is such a good hook. Every run tells a little story. Cannot believe this is free in the browser.

Great concept, runs perfectly in a tab

No download, loads instantly, and the drafting is really satisfying. Only thing I would love is being able to actually watch the matches instead of just the sim result, but for a free browser game the polish is impressive.

Perfect coffee-break game

A full fourteen-match gauntlet fits neatly into a short break, and chasing an unbeaten run keeps me coming back. Clean, fast, and it respects your time.

Simple idea, executed really well

It knows exactly what it is and does it cleanly. No accounts, no nonsense, just draft and go. A couple of runs in and I had already sent it to two friends.
