About Beatoven.ai

Beatoven.ai turns a text prompt into mood-matched, royalty-free background music for videos, podcasts, games, and ads. You describe the feel you're after and its maestro model composes an original track, with a separate sound effects engine for high-fidelity audio design. It's built for content creators who need a soundtrack that fits a scene without hunting through stock libraries or worrying about copyright strikes.

The licensing is a standout. Every download comes with a non-exclusive perpetual license that lets you monetize across platforms and keeps working even if you cancel your subscription. Beatoven also holds Fairly Trained certification, meaning the artists behind its training data are compensated, which appeals to creators who care where their music comes from. For teams building automated pipelines, there's an API and SDK plus a Make.com integration, so music generation can slot into a larger workflow. One thing to note is that it's made for backing your own content, not for distributing tracks to streaming services.

Pricing is freemium with subscription or pay-per-track options. If you score YouTube videos, cut podcast intros, or need ambience for games and ads, Beatoven is a practical, license-clean choice.

Good, with a few caveats

Started using Beatoven.ai casually, now it is pinned in my dock. Got real value out of adjustable genre, mood, tempo, and per-instrument controls. The core workflow is smooth once you are set up. Found it works best for score youtube videos, short films, and trailers with mood-matched music. One thing that bugs me is free tier only previews tracks and blocks all downloads. Hard to imagine going back to my old setup.
