Folloverse

Folloverse is a creator monetization platform that puts memberships, paid posts, digital products and a community space on a single page a creator owns. Its distinguishing idea is per-creation billing. Instead of charging fans a fixed amount every month whether or not anything was published, it charges them only when a creator posts something paid, with a cap fans set on how many paid posts they'll pay for in a month. The problem it addresses is the mismatch between subscription billing and creators whose work arrives when it's ready, a podcaster with an irregular schedule, a comic artist between chapters, or a writer who publishes an essay every six weeks. The whole thing is presented as one page, with the profile, the posts, the products and the community together.

For creators the setup is a profile with custom branding, one or more membership tiers, and posts that can be free, member-only or individually priced. On the per-creation model, a fan joins free and pays nothing until the first paid post. The creator decides post by post whether it triggers a charge, charges are invoiced to fans on the first of the month, and the creator can withdraw earnings to a bank account whenever they like. Recurring memberships and pay-per-view unlocks are available too, so a creator can mix models rather than pick one, and digital products sit alongside the membership and sell from the same page. Posts can carry a preview or teaser before the paywall, and there's built-in video hosting with adaptive streaming, so a video creator isn't sending fans off to another host.

The fan cap is what makes per-post charging safe to offer. A supporter sets a limit on how many paid posts they'll be charged for in a month, so a prolific week has a ceiling instead of a surprise bill, and the optional entry fee, off by default, charges one post's price when a fan joins. On the fan side, accounts are free, and each creator page has real-time chat channels that can be open or member-gated, plus forum channels for threaded discussion. That's the community half of the product, and it's what makes a page feel like a home for a following rather than a checkout with a feed attached.

It's built for creators who don't fit a monthly quota, which the site lists as podcasters, comic artists, writers, tutorial makers and anyone else who publishes when the work is done. It also positions itself as a landing spot for creators who relied on per-creation billing elsewhere and are being moved onto subscriptions, and the homepage compares its fee directly with Patreon's, showing $470 kept from $500 of monthly support here against $450 after a 10 percent cut there.

Compared with the subscription platforms it measures itself against, the difference is where the risk sits. A monthly membership pays the creator whether or not they publish, and asks fans to keep paying through the gaps. Per-creation billing moves the risk back to the creator, who earns when they ship and not otherwise, in exchange for fans who have no reason to cancel during a quiet month because a quiet month costs them nothing. Folloverse offers both, which is the practical answer for someone who wants a small recurring base with paid drops on top.

The pricing is the other differentiator. Folloverse charges a flat 6 percent platform fee, and 0 percent for a creator's first three months. The limits are real, though. It's an open beta for creators, so features and polish are still moving. It's available only in the countries where the company has payments, taxes and payouts working, currently the United States, Canada, the EU, the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and it opens new countries one at a time. And as a young platform, a creator will need to bring their own audience rather than expect discovery.

Access is free to start. Creators sign up with Google or an email address without an invite code, build the page, set tiers and prices, and publish a first post. Fans arrive through the link the creator shares, create a free account, and choose a tier or wait for the first paid post. There's no subscription to the platform itself. The cost is the 6 percent fee on what you earn once the three-month introductory period ends, with payment processing details left to the terms rather than the homepage, and payouts go to a bank account on the creator's own schedule.
