About InterviewWatch ATS
InterviewWatch ATS is an applicant tracking system for teams that have been running hiring out of a spreadsheet and a shared inbox and have started to feel the cracks. It covers job postings, candidate tracking, resume storage, and interview scheduling in one place, and it makes a deliberate bet that most small teams need far less configuration than ATS vendors assume. There's no implementation project, no onboarding fees, and no data migration exercise standing between signing up and actually using it, which is precisely the pitch, an ATS you can be operational in without a rollout.
The pipeline is fixed at six stages, Applied, Phone Screen, Onsite, Offer, Hired, and Rejected. You can't add stages, rename them, or rearrange them. Hired and Rejected are terminal, and a returning candidate has to be explicitly reopened rather than silently drifting back into the funnel. The reasoning is that pipeline customization is where small teams burn their first week for no real gain, so InterviewWatch removes the option and spends the saved complexity on speed. If your process genuinely needs approval chains and bespoke stages, that constraint will chafe. If your process is currently a spreadsheet, it won't.
Candidates get in four ways. There's a hosted careers page at its own address under app.interviewwatch.com that can be live within minutes, an Apply API for companies that keep their own careers page and want applications posted without candidates ever leaving the company domain, CSV import of up to 500 rows per file with per-row reporting on what succeeded, and plain manual entry for sourced candidates and referrals. Everyone is deduplicated by email, so one person applying to three roles becomes one candidate record with three pipeline cards instead of three ghosts to reconcile later.
Resumes attach to applications or upload straight to candidate cards, in PDF, DOC, DOCX, ODT, RTF, and TXT formats up to 10MB per file. The text gets indexed for full-text search across everything stored, so finding past applicants who mentioned a specific skill is a query rather than a folder dig. The system also extracts suggested values for experience, skills, and location, and it's careful to label those as system readings rather than candidate claims, with recruiters free to edit them. Custom fields go further, up to 50 per company, typed as text, long text, number, date, choice, yes or no, or link. On the hosted page you pick which fields to ask and whether they're required, while on a custom careers page a new field is created automatically the first time somebody answers it, and any field can be pinned to cards or used for filtering.
Interviews are created from candidate cards with an assigned interviewer and a meeting link. The assigned interviewer files the scorecard and the hiring recommendation, and only that person can submit it, which keeps feedback attributable instead of pooled, while the whole team can read filed scorecards from the card. Rejections get similar care. Nothing sends automatically. When a card lands in Rejected you're asked whether to tell the person, with a default message you can edit first, and the card records when a rejection went out so nobody receives the same email twice.
The monitoring add-on is the part reflected in the name. For remote interviews where integrity matters, monitoring can be switched on per interview and produces signed reports on answer authenticity. It's opt-in each time, not part of any plan, and costs $5 when a monitored interview completes, with the first five free. Scheduling without monitoring still records meeting details and tracks the candidate normally, so teams that never touch the feature lose nothing by ignoring it.
Pricing is freemium with an unusually clean meter. Jobs, applicants, resumes, and stage moves are never billed, and only active job slots and seats determine the tier. The free plan covers 2 active jobs with unlimited seats and candidates and 1 admin. ATS Starter at $29 per month allows 5 active jobs, 15 seats, and 3 admins. ATS Growth at $49 per month reaches 15 jobs, 100 seats, and 10 admins, and Enterprise is custom with unlimited everything plus a volume rate on monitoring. Signup runs through app.interviewwatch.com with a free trial, and because the free plan already includes unlimited candidates and resumes, upgrading is something you do when open roles multiply, not when applications do. A very small team could sit on the free tier indefinitely, which makes trying it the cheap kind of decision this product seems designed around.
