About Bluhe
Bluhe is a search engine that queries several social platforms at once and returns the results in one interface. Instead of opening X, then Reddit, then TikTok, then YouTube, then Instagram, then Facebook to work out what people are actually saying about something, you type the query once and Bluhe pulls from all of them. The site's own line for the product is making search fun again, and the build follows that idea closely, a fast search box with almost nothing else in the way.
The gap it aims at is a real one. A lot of the most useful information online no longer sits on a neatly indexed web page. It lives in a Reddit thread from four months ago, a reply under a post on X, a comment on a YouTube video, or a fifteen second clip that explains a thing better than any article manages. Conventional search engines cover that unevenly, each platform's own search is famously weak, and the practical result is that people run the same query in six different apps and stitch the answer together themselves. Bluhe collapses that into one pass.
The interface is a row of sources across the top, X, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, plus an All tab that returns everything together and a Chat tab that answers in conversation rather than in a list of links. You can move between the tabs without retyping, so it's easy to start broad on All and then narrow to whichever platform is carrying the useful discussion. Video results have an expand toggle that plays them inline instead of sending you out to the source app, and there's a light and dark theme switch for people who care about that.
In practice the workflow is quick. Start on All to see which network is actually carrying the conversation, tap through to that source when one of them clearly dominates, and expand a video inline when the answer turns out to live in a clip rather than a comment. Because the tabs share the same query, comparing what X thinks with what Reddit thinks takes one click instead of a second search, and that side by side view is often more useful than either result set on its own. The theme toggle and the video expand switch are the only settings to speak of, so the whole interface takes about a minute to learn.
Chat mode is what separates it from a plain aggregator. Rather than handing back a page of links, it answers the question in conversation with the platform results behind it, which suits the messy sort of query where you don't yet know the right keywords. Signing in with Google saves your chat history so a conversation persists and you can pick it up later. Sign-in stays optional though. The search box works immediately with no account, no paywall and no onboarding flow to click through first, which is unusual enough these days to be worth saying out loud.
It fits anyone whose research is social rather than documentary. Marketers checking how a product is genuinely being received, creators looking for what's landing in a niche right now, shoppers hunting for honest opinions instead of affiliate roundups, and researchers who want the raw discussion rather than the article written about the discussion. It also works well for trend-watching, because running one query across six networks shows you quickly where a topic is alive and where it isn't, which is hard to judge from inside any single app. Journalists and analysts get similar value, because first-hand posts about a breaking story usually surface on social platforms well before anything written about them lands anywhere else.
Compared with the alternatives, the closest things are each platform's own search box and the social listening suites built for brands. The platform search boxes are free but siloed, and most of them struggle with anything older than a few days. The listening suites are thorough and priced for marketing departments, with dashboards, alerts and reporting that an individual will never touch. Bluhe sits between those two and much closer to the free end, a single box that spans networks without asking you to configure a workspace first.
Expectations are worth setting, because this is a young and deliberately minimal product. The site is a single application with no marketing pages, no about page, no documentation and no published roadmap, so what you see in the search interface really is the whole of it today. Nothing is published about how deep or how fresh the coverage of each platform is either, so how well it serves you will depend on which networks you lean on most and how recent the discussion you need is. Treat it as a fast lookup utility rather than a system of record and it holds up well.
On access, there's no paid tier anywhere on the site and no trial to start. Search and chat are free to use, and the only account step is the optional Google sign-in that saves chat history. That makes it cheap to evaluate, since finding out whether it beats running the same query across six tabs costs you exactly one search. Anyone who spends real time digging through social platforms for answers will know within a minute whether this replaces that habit.
