About Piloxa
Piloxa is a print-and-mail service that turns a finished letter or PDF into USPS Certified Mail. Its distinctive entry point is a remote Model Context Protocol connector, so an AI assistant can prepare a mailing from the document already present in a conversation. The assistant sends the finished content and address details to Piloxa, then receives a review link. Nothing is printed, mailed, or charged during that tool call. A person has to open the link, inspect the exact pages and recipient, see the total, sign in, pay, and authorize the mailing. That human checkpoint keeps an agent from sending a consequential letter on its own.
The connector is available over HTTP at Piloxa's published MCP address and doesn't require an API key, OAuth connection, or Piloxa account just to add it. It exposes three focused tools. One prepares a certified letter and returns its review link, page count, selected service, and exact total. Another gives a price quote from a page count without creating or storing a draft. The third checks current status for letters prepared in that conversation and returns available USPS events, including acceptance, delivery, or return information. Software that doesn't speak MCP can use the published OpenAPI description and equivalent HTTP endpoints instead.
After approval, Piloxa prints the document on US Letter paper, folds and envelopes it, purchases postage and the Certified Mail fee, and hands it to USPS through a print-and-mail partner. The resulting record keeps the approved document beside its fingerprint, recipient, authorization, mailing data, and tracking history. With an electronic return receipt, the record also includes the recipient signature when USPS releases it. The service is careful about missing events. If a scan hasn't been reported, the record says that no record is available instead of inferring that delivery happened. Every mailing is prepared, approved, and paid separately, including multiple copies of the same letter sent to different recipients.
There are four service levels. Basic Certified Mail includes tracking. The default option adds an electronic return receipt showing who signed. The Evidence Pack adds a Piloxa Certificate of Mailing, the document identified by its SHA-256 fingerprint, the relevant authorization and tracking records, and seven years of retention. The Deadline Notice adds a second copy sent by First-Class Mail on the same day and an email warning when the certified copy is refused, unclaimed, returned, or still undelivered after ten days. Piloxa explains that its certificate isn't a USPS form, notarization, or legal advice, and users should choose a service based on the actual requirements of their notice.
Piloxa fits people and teams that already know what they need to send and want a documented handoff from digital draft to physical mail. Common situations include debt validation letters, notices to cure, insurance correspondence, pre-lien notices, contract notices, and other records where tracking and proof matter. It is not a letter-writing or legal service. The submitted text is printed as written, the system doesn't read the surrounding assistant conversation, and support won't advise whether a deadline applies or what a document means. When the outcome is important, the sender still needs an appropriate professional to review the content.
The service is limited to US addresses and letters of up to ten printed pages. Certified Mail normally travels as First-Class Mail and isn't suitable for same-day delivery. It also isn't positioned for bulk marketing campaigns. Address checking happens on the review page before payment, and a bad match can be corrected while the sender can still stop. Once the print vendor accepts a job, the paper and postage are committed and the mailing can't be recalled. Those limits are practical for a controlled certified-letter workflow, but teams needing international delivery, high-volume mail merges, or fully autonomous dispatch will need a different service.
Piloxa is paid per letter with no subscription, membership, prepaid balance, account fee, or minimum. At the time reviewed, a one-page Certified Mail letter costs $12.97 all in, the version with electronic return receipt costs $15.97, the Evidence Pack costs $24.21, and the Deadline Notice costs $50.10. Longer letters cost slightly more, and the review page shows the exact amount before payment. Printing, envelope, postage, the certified fee, and the mailing record are included. This direct pricing and the mandatory review link make Piloxa a practical action layer for an assistant, while leaving the final decision and charge with a person.

Our take
Tool Index Editorial · Oct 2026· 4.0/5
Piloxa turns a finished letter or PDF into USPS Certified Mail, with an MCP or HTTP handoff and a mandatory human review before anything is printed or charged. It is a good fit for people and teams sending formal US notices who want the approved document tied to tracking and, on higher tiers, signature or evidence records. The site lists a one page mailing at $12.97, $15.97 with an electronic return receipt, $24.21 for the Evidence Pack, and $50.10 for the Deadline Notice, with no subscription.
We like the explicit approval gate and exact price shown before payment. The limits are equally important. Piloxa serves US addresses, handles mailing rather than legal review, and requires a separate approval and payment for each recipient. Delivery still depends on USPS, and a job cannot be recalled once the print vendor accepts it.
